Class Offerings: Elementary

Science

  • Zoology (1st - 3rd)

  • Chemistry/Physics (4th/5th)

  • General Science (6th grade)

  • Note: All classes use Apologia elementary textbooks written by Jennie Fulbright.

Composition/Literature

  • Introduction to Grammar/Literature (3rd/4th grade)

    • In addition to grammar and mechanics, students will focus on a variety of short stories, poems and a novel.

  • Literature and Grammar (5th/6th grade)

    • In addition to grammar and mechanics, student will study two novels.

  • Writing 1 (4th/5th)

  • Writing 2 (5th/6th)

  • Writing 3 (6th/7th)

  • Note: All Writing classes (1,2,3) use Institute for Excellence in Writing

Other

  • Elementary Art (1st - 6th)

    • Instruction in a variety of mediums

    • Art History

    • Art Technique and Composition

  • Music (1st - 6th)

    • Voice

    • Performance
